Food and nutrition week was held during the first term to raise awareness about eating healthy food and having a balanced diet. Through this, children also learnt not to waste food as today’s wastage is tomorrow’s shortage.
World Environment Day, International Yoga Day, Teachers’ Day and Children’s Day were also celebrated with grandeur. Dr. Subhash Joshi auditorium was inaugurated and one of the teachers, Smt. Neeta Patki was awarded as the Best Teacher by NLE Society’s Management on Teachers’ Day.
Many events like Investiture Ceremony, Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, Group Projects, Pick and Speak were also conducted. Rotary Public School also organized Young Entrepreneurs’ Day and Fun and Fair wherein children exhibited their talents in making handicraft items at the stalls and selling the same. The funds raised were donated to an orphanage.
Primary students enjoyed Pookolam, the activity of flower and petal decoration. Making Rangoli using grains and pulses attracted students and parents alike. Best out of waste activity, Drawing and Colouring competition were also conducted to raise awareness on various kinds of pollutions. Children’s day was enjoyed by nursery tots by taking a ride on Tonga. Prizes related to annual sports were given away on children’s day.
Learners are constantly involved in activities that allow them to be independent by engaging them and interacting with them about the benefits of hygienic practices and day to day chores. All festivals are celebrated with great joy and the children are enlightened about the significance of both religious and national festivals.

The term scholastic refers to those aspects which are related to intellect and brain. It includes assessments of learners in curricular subjects, project work and verbal expression test etc. In Rotary Public School, we offer various programs right from Play Home for the age group of 1 years 10 months to 2 Years 10 Months, Nursery classes for 2 Years 10 Months to 3 Years 10 Months, LKG for 3 Years 10 Months to 4 Years 10 Months, UKG for 4 Years 10 Months to 5 Years 10 months and CBSE Syllabus from 1st standard onwards till 6th Standard with present strength. Meanwhile, we have all the necessary facilities till Class X CBSE.
Teachers are also learners. Staying updated is the key to success in any field, especially in education. Our teachers constantly strive to stay updated by attending workshops & various training programmes. Some of the workshops attended by our teachers and Principal were on development of critical thinking and leadership in students, development of phonetic skills, how to develop English and Hindi language, communication skills of students and Learning Disability Workshop.
Our students who have participated in interschool competitions in various sectors and won the medals and certificates.
Our school child Aradhya from UKG won First prize in interschool story telling competition.
Our School Chess Champion Shravani.Naik from 2nd STD continuously winning the awards in state level chess Tournaments.
